Access to Information
The Ministère du Développement économique, de l'Innovation et de l'Exportation is subject to the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (R.S.Q., c.A-2.1); correspondingly, the Ministère is subject to the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information 
A dedicated section on the Ministère website was created to facilitate the implementation of Clause 4 of the Regulation.
The website of the Commission d’accès à l’information contains a summary of rights and obligations concerning the « Access procedure » and « Protection of personal information »
Requests for access to Ministère documents or any other information targeted by the Act respecting access must be addressed to the person in charge of access to information at the Ministère. Requests may be mailed or faxed to:

A request for access to information may also be submitted online.
Finally, requests for access to information may be made by telephone. However, under the terms of Clause 45 of the Act regarding access, only a decision concerning a written request may be submitted for review by the Commission d'accès à l'information.
